
The Session, composed of 14 ordained elders and moderated by the pastor, serves as the church's spiritual leaders and has oversight over all its ministries. It meets at least monthly except for July to engage in Bible study and prayer and review the work of its committees and conduct such business as may be needed.
Standing committees of the Session are chaired by an elder but are open to any member of the church who feels called to serve in the area of the committee's responsibility. THe following committees meet as needed and called by the chair:
- Chancel Guild
- Christian Education
- Membership and Outreach
- Memorial Endowment
- Missions
- Nominating Committee
- Personnel
- Property and Finance
- Worship and Music
Ad-hoc Committees are established as required by particular events, such as the recent 50th anniversary celebration or fundraising for purchasing a new organ in 2006-2007.
