Christian Education is given high priority at First Presbyterian.  Special bible study groups meet during afternoons and evenings.  Vacation Bible School and the Christmas Pageant are both education and outreach opportunities, as children beyond our congregation participate.

The Christmas Pageant invites children of our church and beyond our congregation to tell the story of
the first Christmas.  Presented during the worship hour in Advent, this is always a magical time to share
the story of Christmas.

Vacation Bible School, held in the evenings during one week in July, provides for children from pre-school through elementary grades.  Usually using study and activity materials from an external supplier, this activity routinely serves over 50 children, roughly triple our own population in this age group.

Bible Study Group

Led by the pastor, bible study group meets on Tuesday afternoons at 2 p.m. for an in-depth interactive study of a book of the bible. The class chooses the next book to be studied as they end their reading of the current one. Anyone is welcome to attend.

The pastor is looking to start a few more studies in the new year.
